Zech Medley joined Bromley on loan a little over a month ago, but the question remains whether Ravens fans will see him in black and white next season.

He’s a South London lad who has previously worked with Andy Woodman at Arsenal and Alex Dyer at Kilmarnock, so he was a perfect fit when Bromley were down on defensive numbers and needed someone with League Two experience.

Reviewing his career to date, at the age of 25, Medley has made over 100 professional appearances, spanning spells in the Scottish Premiership, League One, Belgian Pro League, and League Two. In view of this, it could be argued that Woodman has signed a pro with a wealth of experience who has arguably yet to hit his prime.

We can debate whether his best position is left wing-back, left-back, centre-back on the left side of a three, or centre-back on the left side of a two, but it is this very flexibility that will likely prove his most desirable attribute as the season reaches its denouement.
