Barrow enter the weekend unbeaten in seven games, albeit four of the last five games have been draws. This speaks volumes about the robustness Andy Whing demands of his sides, but more impressive is who they have got those points against. Draws against Oldham, Grimsby, Barnet, and a win away against league leaders Walsall highlight the potential of Whing’s side.
This week, he told BBC Cumbria that he believes his side are now showing they can compete at the right end of League Two.
