Last season, Bromley completed the double over Gillingham.

It felt like noisy neighbours making a statement of intent, and the gap between the two sides was so large that you could be forgiven for wondering why Gillingham held Kent bragging rights. But that was last season.

Since Gareth Ainsworth’s appointment in March, the Gills are revitalised and have been on a proper tear up. Across two seasons, they have yet to taste defeat in any of Ainsworth’s fifteen games in charge, and his team’s record reads as: 7 wins, 8 draws, and only 10 goals conceded.
