In Review: Barnet 2 - 2 Bromley

MACHEL HEWITT: Bromley CEO Mark Hammond told me in pre-season that he believes George Evans is the next one. There is a method at this club, and we would all do well to take heed.

This Bromley side just don’t know when they’re beaten.

Friday’s encounter with Barnet encapsulated why the Ravens have only lost five league games this season. We can quibble about whether they should have found themselves needing to scramble for a point at the death against ten men, but the end justified the means.

Andy Woodman stated at full-time that it felt like a win, especially as no one other than long-shots Salford capitalised on it. It might have just been a single point, but it puts his side five points clear of MK Dons and seven points clear of fourth-placed Notts County with just five games to go.
