Oldham Athletic turned up with a record that had to be respected. You don’t concede just 30 goals in the league by accident. Everything about their performance on the night highlighted what they are: a defensively robust side on a good run of form.

Try as they might, Bromley could only huff and puff their way to a goalless draw, and it was a result that always seemed on the cards.
