In Review: Bromley 2 - 1 Newport County

PETER ETHERINGTON: As the league’s in-form club, Bromley have a target on their back, but teams still don’t relish the prospect of facing them. If you’re not fully committed to fighting and winning relentless battles for 90 minutes, you will fall behind.

New year, same Bromley.

The Ravens knuckled down on New Year’s Day to record another win, their sixth in a row, and maintain their unblemished home record.

They kept a struggling Newport side at arm’s length for the majority of the match, but a momentary lapse of concentration made the final minutes more nervy than necessary. Still, the points are in the bag and Andy Woodman’s juggernaut rolls on.

In Machel’s absence, join me as I get my claws into The Good, The Bad and The Ugly from Bromley’s 2-1 home win over Newport County.
