Beware of the banana skin.
After a run of tough games where Bromley have had to dig deep to get results, tonight they have a game that looks a little easier on paper. Mentally underline ‘on paper’.
After a horror start to the season that saw Mike Flynn sacked in September, Cheltenham began to rally under the guidance of his replacement, club legend Steve Cotterill. But things have taken yet another turn for the worse at Whaddon Road.
Cheltenham arrive at Hayes Lane on the back of a run of games where they have secured 4 points from the last possible 32. In that time, they have conceded 16 goals and rank worst for goals conceded in the last eight games. This trend is made all the more galling by the fact that before those eight games, they had collected 23 points from a possible 36, dragging them away from the relegation places.
