Bromley are undefeated in their first four league games, but Saturday’s away encounter at Notts County might represent their toughest test so far.

Until Wednesday night, Notts County had had a very indifferent start to the season under new manager Martin Paterson.

In their first three games, Notts drew 1-1 away at Newport County, lost 2-1 away at Barrow, and lost 2-1 at home to Salford City. They also lost 1-0 away at League One Wigan in the EFL Cup. This meant the Magpies went into Wednesday's league game at home to Shrewsbury with a ton of pressure already weighing on manager Martin Paterson’s shoulders.

Their emphatic 4-1 victory would have gone some way to alleviating the pressure, but given the Shrews have had a terrible start to life in League Two, perhaps that win should be taken with a pinch of salt.
