Bromley’s season culminated with the Ravens securing what seemed to be their tertiary target: ‘Project Champions’. But perhaps it was the most important target all along.

I think most of the crowd on Saturday were more than happy to celebrate the promotion secured with two games to spare, but as the clock ticked down on MK Dons' game at Fleetwood, Hayes Lane became increasingly giddy with thoughts of what might come to pass.

When news of the final whistle at Fleetwood spread, confirming that MK had failed to score in injury time, Hayes Lane erupted and the inevitable pitch invasion began.
