Last season, including Corey Whitely, 13 of Bromley’s 64 league goals came through the men in the middle. Of more concern is the fact that they only laid on 9 assists.
Now, this is not to say that Jude Arthurs, Ben Thompson, Ashley Charles, Corey Whitely, and Lewis Leigh did not contribute in other ways, but if we’re talking about marginal gains, upgrading the midfield was always going to be a focal point this summer.
