Replacing Woodman: Which way will the Ravens fly?

OLIVER WHITEMAN: The Bromley board have no option but to find a manager capable of both reaching and exceeding Andy Woodman's achievements.

24.10.26, 07:36

For the newest generation of Bromley fans, Andy Woodman has always been the man in the dugout, and his upward trajectory has been relentless. He guided the club to FA Trophy success in 2022, National League and League Two promotions, and an FA Cup third-round tie away at Premier League Newcastle United. These were all firsts in Bromley’s 134-year history.

The bombshell of Woodman’s sudden departure has sent seismic shockwaves across Bromley and the wider EFL, launching a once stable club into an uncertain new era.

Was the call made by Robin Stanton-Gleaves alone, or did the club’s new investors have a hand in the decision? Speculation is rife. Either way, the club must find a successor to lead Bromley to survival, one who won’t flinch at having limited time to galvanise a shell-shocked squad and a heartbroken fanbase.
