In review: Walsall 3-1 Bromley

MACHEL HEWITT: Bromley were good value for 60 minutes, and Walsall probably should have been out of the game at half-time. That fact alone should give Bromley some positives to work from.

It was a case of what might have been for Bromley as a half-time lead and a brief sojourn at the top of League Two was overturned by league leaders Walsall, who gave the Ravens a taste of their own medicine with a high-octane second-half performance.

This defeat won’t define Bromley’s season, but it may have given Andy Woodman insight into the puzzle pieces he’ll need if he’s to complete the League Two jigsaw.
