With ten games to go, the wheat is about to be separated from the chaff.
To complicate matters, a few weeks ago, I tried to write Salford City out of the equation, but as teams above them have dropped points (including Bromley), Salford now find themselves back in the race. So once again, it looks like a case of three teams from six.
No one said the race for automatic promotion was going to be easy, and Bromley are presented with another tough test in the shape of Bristol Rovers.
Rovers arrive at Hayes Lane unbeaten in four games, securing wins against play-off chasers Crewe and Grimsby Town and relegation-haunted Barrow, and earning a draw against automatic promotion hopefuls Swindon Town.
